      Hi! I’d need to see your flow, but I suspect you still have a “get sheet” action that is pulling all the rows and you are sending the emails to every row in the sheet. that’s not needed. you just use the row that is retured by the “when a new row” trigger.

      Also, if you made a copy of your old flow, you maybe have it turned on still?

        Tony,
        I think I answered this in your email, but one thing I’ve done in this situation is to have a power automate flow that stores the rowId in a column on the source sheet, then when it copies to the “trigger sheet”, it follows along, and you can use that in your flow.

        Does that make sense?

          Yes, that has never worked as you think it does. The only way to have attachments included in a notification from Smartsheet is through the update request, which is really goofy if you just want to send the attachment

          I think when a new row is created and you send the entire notification that the attachments may come through, I’d have to test all the cases.

          But, this is why we use something like Power Automate to send the attachments… Smartsheet automations are terrible if you need to send any row attachments….

          So, it’s not you, it’s Smartsheet. It’s very confusing that they give you that option when it doesn’t work.

            Michael,
            You can use your new 12 Hr modified time column and use this:

            =TIME([Modified Time]@row, 1, 2)

            The “1” in the function will display in 24hr time, the “2” makes it display in hh:mm format.

            You could do this all in one formula when you extract from the Modified system column, by adding those additional parameters into the TIME() function like this:

            Modified Time column formula:
            =TIME(RIGHT([Modified DateTime]@row, 8), 1, 2)

              Michael,
              The star column values are stored as text with the number spelled out vs being a numerical value.
              Therefore, this is the proper formula:

              =IFERROR(IF(Probability@row = “Five”, 0.9, IF(Probability@row = “Four”, 0.7, IF(Probability@row = “Three”, 0.5, IF(Probability@row = “Two”, 0.25, IF(Probability@row = “One”, 0.1, 0))))), 0)

                Kevin,
                If the items aren’t in the queue, that means that a flow is operating on them. If an item is in the queue, that’s generally not desired, because it means the scenario (flow) that is using that webhook is either inactive or had an error.

                For example, if you flow is inactive and you have webhooks in the queue, then you turn the flow back on, it will ask if you want to process the webhooks in the queue.

                Does that make sense?

                  Kevin,

                  Good idea if you are going to use the same script for multiple report sources.

                  I haven’t test this, but I *think* it will work. What you’ll do is add “virtualColId” (without the quotes) as a key in the Javascript module and set it equal to the virtual column ID value from your report.

                  Let me know if this works.

                  ——–

                  virtualColIdString = virtualColId.toString();

                  let result = [];
                  rowData.map( row => {

                  result.push(
                  { “name”:row.cells[virtualColIdString].displayValue,
                  “email”:row.cells[virtualColIdString].value
                  });

                  });

                  return result;

                    Kevin,

                    Good question.

                    I made a video explaining how to do this.

                    Here is the script I used:

                    ——–

                    let result = [];
                    rowData.map( row => {

                    result.push(
                    { “name”:row.cells[‘YOUR REPORT VIRTUAL COLUMN ID’].displayValue,
                    “email”:row.cells[‘YOUR REPORT VIRTUAL COLUMN ID’].value
                    });

                    });

                    return result;

                      A few issues I see.
                      1. there’s a substitute function without require parameters
                      2. There’s a semi colon at the end of the URL with a weird numerical string, but maybe that’s a copy and paste issue?

                      This should get you closer( assuming everything else matches your sheet). Also, I’m substituting out single spaces, but if you have any other special characters you’ll need to sub those out as well.

                      =SUBSTITUTE(“https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/d677350bdb444cce8eb920a9f155c3ab?SubmittalID=” + SubmittalID@row + “&Project ID=” + [Project ID]@row + “&Spec Section=” + [Spec Section]@row, ” “,”%20”)

                      Here’s a reference for special characters: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2478871-url-query-string-form-default-values#toc-include-special-characters-in-the-query-string

                        When dependencies are enabled, you can’t edit the Start Date without breaking the dependency. Think of it this way…

                        The start data of successor tasks is dependent on the predecessor(s) end dates, so if you want to change the start date of a specific task, you either need to adjust the end date of the predecessor task, or make the task not dependent on another task.

                        Make sense?

                            Thanks for the screenshots, they are really helpful and let me know you have your cross sheet range correct.

                            My initial thought is that the year in one sheet could be interpreted as text and another as a number.

                            i can’t tell for sure unless you shared the sheets with me to guru@smartsheetguru.com

                            You could try the following:
                            =IF(ISBLANK([Year of Sale]@row), “”, COUNTIFS({Transaction Sheet | Transaction Year}, value(@cell) = value([Year of Sale]@row)))

                            That will for number to number matching.

                            Let me know if that works, if it doesn’t put the sheets in a workspace and share the workspace with me as a viewer, then I can copy it into my account and take a look.

                              Are you talking about a report that is set to email an export on a set schedule like daily, weekly, etc?

                              If so, you can’t edit the list of users who receive it. The only way is to delete the recurrence then create a new one with the new recipients..

                              Is that what you are talking about?

                                Peggy,
                                I’m not aware of Smartsheet blocking emails with a + in them, but will have to look into that more.

                                However, can you first confirm that the sheet sending the notifications allows sending to external users?

                                  If you have the source as a multi contact, and you link it to a multi contact column in your project plan it will remain as a block of multi contacts in that dropdown cell. Meaning it can be used as a contact column for notifications, filtering, etc.
