    Louise,
    I’ve had similar experiences with Smartsheet reports when changing source columns.

    I think the cleanest way would be to:

    1. uncheck those columns with the exclamations points
    2. Save the report
    3. Refresh the report
    4. Add the revised columns in

    See if that changes the behavior. I don’t think it’s user error, I think it is the Smartsheet interface.
