Aviation: Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) Operations Application
FBOs managing multiple aircraft with shared ownership need a way to track aircraft availability and expenses. Add on top of that, pilot schedules and maintenance requirements, and that’s a lot to track without a backbone to allow all the data sets to talk to each other. AppSheet is a perfect fit to develop a solution to allow everyone from pilots, office personnel, and the aircraft maintenance shop to access the same source of truth. Furthermore, AppSheet’s report generation abilities allows the FBO to send all expense reports to the respective owners with confidence.
Construction: Daily Reports
Every construction company relies on accurate daily reports to communicate job progress internally and to customers. AppSheet provides orchestration between field personnel, such as foreman and office personnel to collect and report daily on every job. Image capture and GPS logging ensure ease of use in the field, while the office can generate custom designed documents to archive and send to customers upon request. Given AppSheet’s relational data model, daily reports can easily be used to calculate job costs based on the field reporting actual material usage.
Construction: Field Sales and Pipeline Management
A construction company needed their field sales teams to have mobile access to their pipeline without giving everyone full access to the underlying Smartsheet data. We designed and built a custom AppSheet app that gives sales reps a clean mobile interface to view, update, and progress leads from the field, while customer service reps manage lead inake and followup from the office.
AppSheet Isn’t just for Construction and Field Operations

AppSheet apps evolve. Your data changes, your team grows, your processes shift. A retainer gives you consistent access to an experienced AppSheet consultant who already knows your setup. Great for ongoing improvements, new features, and someone to call when something needs fixing fast.
Team Training
AppSheet gives non-developers the ability to build their own apps, but there’s a learning curve. Consider customized training for your team built around your actual data and use cases, so they can take ownership and help themselves. Your team will get real training on what you need to build instead of generic tutorials.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to already be using AppSheet to work with you?
No. Many clients come to me with data in spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Smartsheet, or Excel) and no AppSheet experience at all. We start with what you have and build from there.
How is this different from hiring a developer?
AppSheet is no-code, which means faster builds, lower cost, and apps your own team can maintain after we’re done. You’re not dependent on a developer for every small change.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on complexity, but a focused single-use app can be scoped, built, and delivered in 2โ4 weeks. More complex relational solutions with multiple user roles take longer and are better suited to a retainer engagement.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Usually just access to your existing spreadsheet data and a clear description of the problem you’re trying to solve. The discovery call is where we work out the rest.
Can AppSheet connect to systems we already use?
Yes. AppSheet integrates natively with Google Workspace, and can connect to other data sources including SQL databases, Smartsheet, Microsoft Online, and more. If you’re already in the Google ecosystem it’s an especially natural fit. Furthermore, Appsheet can post data to external API’s and receive data in over the Appsheet API.
What happens after the app is built?
You own it. I can hand it off with documentation and a walkthrough, or stay on retainer for ongoing improvements as your needs evolve.
Do you offer training for our team?
Yes, team training is one of the three ways we work together. I build the training around your actual app and data, not generic AppSheet tutorials.
